How we do it
After Contacting Us, we discuss the best way to market your product with video. This is free of charge, we are happy to discuss ideas with you and come up with a plan. Once you decide to go ahead you will need to pay us a deposit before we begin filming.
We then arrange a filming time, the film crew will arrive, and together with your help we do the shoot.
After this we do the editing back at our offices – for a rough idea this takes approximately two days for every one day filming. It will take longer if we are using animation techniques and After Effects.
You then get to see your video and make any changes. We do this by putting your video up on the internet on special page that is not for public consumption. “the viewing room”
Once all adjustments are made and you are happy with the final result the video is “finished” and after we have received payment from you, we will then give you your DVD’s, the .flv file for your web-site and upload it onto YouTube.

You need to think about the market you are selling to - the age of your customers, the target market, and where the video will be playing.
The age is important because younger people have a shorter attention span than the older generation – it is called the MTV era. Videos for younger people will need to be faster and more up-beat with more effects and graphics to capture attention. The older generation like a slower more explanatory approach.
The target market is important as a product can have many applications and there may be an area that is more important than others to advertise. You may want to make a short overview video of your product and several more short videos to be able to explain your products use to the different applications. For example you may want one approach to market a product to schools, and another for the same product in a factory situation, or retirement villages. These can go in different pages in your website, but makes it instantly interesting to the customer rather than having to try to think about applying it to their circumstance or having to watch through video that is not interesting to them.
Remember, on the internet people are busy and are ready to click off if they are not getting what they want. You need to make each second interesting, make it easy to get your message across; This is why you are using video. You can explain your product quickly and efficiently and in a captivating way.
In all cases we need to think about where this video will be played. If mainly for the web, we need to remember that not all computers have sound – are your customers likely to be viewing from work and offices or in the evenings at home? A lot of office computers do not have sound. This is why we put words on a lot of our videos rather than voice-overs. The music makes a great vibe and creates an atmosphere but is not essential to be able to view the video. This is also good if your dvd is to be viewed in public places where the sound may not be heard. Voice over’s are great for personal promotional, and captured audiences where they will be listening with concentration and able to hear.
The last thing is the visual impression. We can captivate an audience with fantastic scenery, human interest, humour, interesting film shots, short interesting sentences or voice-overs, and by adding effects to the video. This is our area of expertise, you can have as much or little input with this as you want.
